In 2010 I was awarded a
contract by the U.S. General
Services Administration to
create two paintings for the
M.C. Smith Federal Building in
Bangor, Maine.  The  paintings
on the far left are each 32 x 42 ,
displayed in the newly
renovated waiting room for the
U.S. District Court.  The project
was completed and installed as
of May 2013. Funding was
provided by the American
Recovery and Reinvestment Act
of 2009, as part of the Art in
Architecture program mandated
by the federal government
.
"The Great One" included in  David Little's, "Art of
Katahdin" released in April 2013 by Down East Books.
In addition, this piece was reproduced for the Down
East Magazine article, "Katahdin: The Mountain, The
Muse", August 2013

The painting was also exhibited in " A Mountain Rises:
The Art of Katahdin" at the University of New England
Art Gallery in Portland, Maine.
July 31 to October 27, 2013.

"The Great One" is available for purchase, please email
or phone for more information.
"Hovering Sky", as seen on the cover,
as well as a portfolio of eight additional
paintings will be featured in the
Summer 2014 edition of
The
